Mission & Vision

One of our homeless men, who sleeps in an old abandoned warehouse downtown, recently asked, “Mrs. Cindy, why do you and Dr. Hall do this?” I answered, “We love God and we love you.” He replied, “That’s all I need to know!”

Our Mission

As long as people live outdoors on our streets, along our river and creek banks, under our bridges, and in our abandoned buildings, H3 Health Healing Hope will provide access to health care that meets their unique needs.

Our Vision

The core philosophy and vision of H3 Health Healing Hope street medicine, is to form a relationship with those sleeping on the streets that will create the potential for them to live healthier lives. It is essential that all H3 Health Healing Hope street medicine programs go out to where the unsheltered experiencing homelessness live and engage them on their terms. The relationship with the unsheltered experiencing homelessness must be grounded in respect for each individual, resulting in a goal-negotiated model of care. Access to medical care is the core function of H3 Health Healing Hope street medicine. Interventions which promote a healthier life are also integral to H3 Health Healing Hope street medicine practice. These include safety, housing, income, psychiatric and substance abuse treatment, harm reduction, and personal fulfillment. The goal of H3 Health Healing Hope street medicine is to provide all this, reflecting the love of Christ.
